About SafePedicures
A consumer-facing nail salon directory built around the hygiene practices that matter most. We list salons from public sources and give you the criteria to apply when you book.
Why SafePedicures exists
Most nail salon directories sort by reviews, distance, or price. SafePedicures is built around something different — the visible signals of clean, safe practice. Autoclaves. Disposable basin liners. Pipeless pedicure chairs. Single-use porous tools. Visible licensing. The things that actually reduce your risk of infection or contamination.
We aggregate salon listings from publicly available sources — Google reviews, state licensing records, and health inspection databases where available — and present the eight hygiene criteria so you know what to look for when you walk in. We do not independently inspect or certify individual salons. The decision still happens at the chair, with your eyes on the autoclave and the basin.
What we're not
SafePedicures is not a booking platform, a salon-management product, or a paid-rank directory. We do not verify or certify individual salons. Inclusion is editorial — salons cannot pay to be listed, removed, or re-ordered.
How to read a listing
Each city page lists salons aggregated from public sources. Star ratings reflect public Google review averages — useful as a signal, but no substitute for checking the hygiene criteria in person before you book.
